Bio: Stephanie Chase is a freelance media writer and in Portland, Oregon who has devoted an unhealthy portion of her daily life to wearing spandex. She received her Master's degree from Portland State and has put her humanities background and knowledge about Marxist economics to good use by writing about cycling. Riding and racing for the Portland-based Veloforma women's cycling team, Stephanie also does writing and research for Mercy Corps and media for The North American Cyclocross Trophy series.
